The Celebrity Traitors UK is back! The show that has kept the entire nation guessing is returning for a second series. The first season was a huge success, following the popularity of the original The Traitors, which has already aired four seasons.
Now that the show is underway, we’ve decided to take a look at everything you need to know about the new series.
What is The Celebrity Traitors about?
Much like the regular version of the show, The Celebrity Traitors takes place in the Scottish Highlands. Contestants are divided into two groups: the Faithfuls and the Traitors.
The Faithfuls must work out who the Traitors are among them, while the Traitors must keep their identities a secret throughout the game. The winning contestants have the chance to take home a huge prize pot. However, in the celebrity version, the winnings are donated to charity.

The celebrities taking part in the second series are: Broadcaster and journalist Amol Rajan, comedian and writer James Acaster, singer-songwriter James Blunt, model and actress Jerry Hall, actress Bella Ramse, comedian and presenter Joe Lycett, comedian Joanne McNally, actress Julie Hesmondhalgh, actor and presenter Ross Kemp, YouTuber and streamer KingKenny, singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock and actor Michael Sheen.
Others taking part include: TV presenter Maya Jama, comedian and actress Miranda Hart, actor Richard E. Grant, comedian Rob Beckett, actress Myha’la,mathematician and broadcaster Professor Hannah Fry, comedian and presenter Romesh Ranganathan, actor Sebastian Croft, actress Sharon Rooney.
Who is hosting The Celebrity Traitors Series 2?
Claudia Winkleman is back to helm the show for its second series. She recently stepped down from Strictly Come Dancing, making her return to The Traitors even more highly anticipated.
When is The Celebrity Traitors airing?
According to the BBC, the new season will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer later in 2026
