Where do I even start with this series? Did I love it? Absolutely. Could it have been better? Definitely. But overall, Weak Hero Class 2 had me hooked from the start.

What Is Weak Hero Class 2 About?
If you’ve watched Weak Hero Class 1, you already know how intense that ending was. Sun-ho (Choi Hyun Wook) was left in a coma, his fate uncertain.
Meanwhile, Si-eun (Park Ji-hoon) is emotionally wrecked and has to start fresh at a new school—Eunjang High, which might be one of the worst in the country.
It’s a chaotic, violent place with a bad reputation, and it’s the only school that would accept him after everything that happened.
The new season opens with Si-eun speaking to a therapist, a much-needed step after last season’s trauma. His mother, however, remains frustratingly focused on academics rather than his well-being.
At school, Si-eun isolates himself, reverting to how he was before meeting Su-ho and Beom-seok.
Eunjang High isn’t just rough—it’s connected to a real gang called “The Union,” run by Baek Jin (Bae Na-ra), who was once close friends with Baku (Park Hoo-min, played by Ryeoun). Baku, now trying to avoid gang life, is friends with Go Hyun-tak (Lee Min-Jae). Together, they try to steer clear of trouble.
New student Seo Jun-tae (Choi Min-young) is being bullied by Choi Hyo-man (Yoo Soo Bin), who’s pressuring Eunjang to join the Union.
When Jun-tae fights back, the fallout is brutal—until Si-eun intervenes and saves him. Eventually, Baku returns from suspension and reconnects with Hyun-tak. Si-eun, Jun-tae, Baku, and Hyun-tak form a tight group that stands against the violence around them.
Si-eun, still haunted by what happened to Sun-ho, avoids fighting when he can. He’s carrying deep guilt and trauma, but despite his efforts, conflict finds him.
Is Weak Hero Class 2 Worth Watching?
. If you enjoyed the first season, Weak Hero Class 2 is a must-watch.
The action is ramped up this season, with more frequent and more intense fight scenes. But what stood out is the character development, especially Si-eun’s. You can feel him trying to grow and change, not to repeat what broke him before.
The friendships this time around are also a major highlight, especially the bonding moments between the core group.
The ending delivers some beautiful and emotional scenes that bring things full circle for Si-eun and the others. That said, parts of it felt a little rushed, with some plot points underdeveloped or not fully explained.
Still, the season is gripping, emotional, and entertaining – although it’s not perfect. But when there’s a Class 3, I’ll definitely be tuning in.
