Aaron Pierre has proven himself as a versatile actor. The star had made a name for himself in the industry, having starred in Mufasa: The Lion King. Born in West Croydon, Aaron is the eldest of three siblings. His family has a diverse heritage, with Jamaican, Curaçaoan, and Sierra Leonean roots, according to The Guardian newspaper.

As an actor and performer, he has trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts before starring in his first ever major role, playing Dev-Em in the sci-fi series Krypton. We love a man who can act and sing, and he’s gone on to drive the internet into a frenzy over his musical talents.

The Genius series is an anthology drama produced by National Geographic that showcases the lives of remarkable historical figures. In Season 4 of the show, Aaron appeared as Malcom X.

Britannia (2018)
Created by Jez Butterworth and Tom Butterworth, Britannia is a British historical fantasy drama.
Pierre played Antonius, a Roman soldier, in this historical fantasy drama set during the Roman invasion of Britain. Set in 43 AD, Britannia takes place during the Roman invasion of Britain, following Julius Caesar’s failed attempts 90 years earlier.
The A Word (2016)
The A Word is a British drama series that follows the journey of a young boy named Joe who is diagnosed with autism. The show primarily focuses on how Joe’s diagnosis affects his family, particularly his parents, Paul and Alison, as well as his extended family and friends.
Brother (2022)
In Brother, Aaron stars as Francis.
The film follows the journey of two brothers, Francis and Michael, growing up in a Caribbean family in Toronto. As they navigate the challenges of identity, family expectations, and what it means to be a man, they find themselves caught in the energy and struggles of the city’s emerging hip-hop culture.
Rebel Bridge
In Rebel Ridge, Aaron plays a character caught in a web of corruption and injustice.
The film follows a former Marine who returns to his small hometown and finds himself up against crooked local law enforcement. When they wrongfully take a bag of cash he needs to bail out his cousin, he’s forced to fight back, facing danger and betrayal as he tries to get the money back and expose the corruption in the town.
