Love Island has been heating up, and as we near the final days, there are some exciting segments lined up – including the Islanders being reunited with their loved ones and the much-anticipated talent show competition. If you love seeing more of this type of content, click here.
The previous episode saw the end of Harry and Helena’s relationship, as well as the return of former Islanders Blu and Megan. Check out this post for a full recap.
But trust me, the show has plenty more in store… Here’s my review of the last three episodes.

Episode 50
At the end of the day, I don’t agree with Harry’s actions, but now that he appears to have made up his mind about Shakira, he needs to follow through.
Now that Harry and Helena have ended things completely, it seems there’s no hope for her and Blu either. Blu also seems like he’s clutching at straws, and it’s honestly really awkward. Meanwhile, Helena and Harry shared an emotional moment, closing the chapter on their Love Island experience together.
Elsewhere, the parents have finally entered the villa. Toni’s mum, Leslie, has already caused a stir – she told Toni off for her behaviour with Harrison but also praised Cach for how he’s been treating her, which is honestly legendary.
Then we had Dejon and Meg’s parents, who told them to loosen up in the relationship and just take things easy.
And finally, we all have to love Shakira’s mum, Sukina, who refused to hug Harry after the way he’s been acting in the villa – and respectfully so. Awkward.
Episode 51
Family Day continues, and it starts off with Ty and Angel’s close ones entering the villa. At least one couple, everything is smooth sailing.
Meanwhile. Helena is left emotional – but I’m glad she let her feelings out and got the support from her close ones.
At the end of the day, Harry and Helena have finally cleared the air, and now everyone seems to be playing happy families in the villa. It’s sad that Toni in tears after Cach’s brother and sister gave her the cold shoulder. I hope their reception changes over time.
Dejon and Meg are closer now that they can finally open up and get past all their mistakes and miscommunications.
And the first L bomb of the season has been dropped.
Meanwhile, the Islanders had Couple Goals – not the happiest challenge of the season.
The text read:”Islanders, it’s time to reveal what you really think of each other in today’s challenge, Couple Goals. #IfTruthBeTold #NoHoldingBack.”
The episode ends with viewers getting to decide their favourite couples and the couple with the least amount of votes will be left vulnerable.
Episode 52
The Islanders take stage for the 2025 Talent Show and it’s definitely one that shouldn’t be missed.
From Conor and Megan’s High School Musical duet to Shakira’s Disney-inspired ballad, the performances had jaws dropping.
But it was Toni who stole the spotlight with her cheeky, innuendo-laced routine.
Just as the laughter died down, a brutal text revealed a shock dumping.
But the chaos didn’t stop there as the Baby Challenge looms.
