It’s officially Week 4 of Love Island Season 12.
We’ve just come off a dramatic dumping and the iconic “Snog, Marry, Pie” challenge – you can read all about it here. I had high expectations for these episodes, and they didn’t disappoint, despite my frustration with certain decisions and couples.
Here’s my review of the Love Island episodes 22, 23, and 24 – grab your popcorn.
Episode 22
Shakira is finally done with her situation with Harry after the disastrous challenge that exposed his lingering feelings for Helena.
Meanwhile, Toni is left heartbroken by Harrison’s recent behavior in the villa – flirting with Helena – which has completely put her off him.

It’s finally time for a recoupling, with the guys choosing which girl to be with – and wow, those speeches were adorable. Might’ve needed a tissue or two!
Nothing really seems to be progressing between Emily and Tommy as much as they’re trying to force it (sorry has to be said).
Also, Harrison not being able to decide between Helena and Toni just shows how indecisive and immature he is – like a kid in a sweet shop.
Great, another boring challenge. This one is called the Girls vs. Boys Challenge, which feels like a smaller knockoff version of the Heart Race Challenge.
Episode 23
Yesterday’s challenge definitely drove a wedge between some of the Islanders – especially Shakira and Harry.
I’m sorry, but this Shakira and Harry drama is driving me up the wall. I really think they should just call it quits by now. Some new bombshells have arrived, with new boy Ryan choosing Shakira and Toni to go on a date with.
Meanwhile, Billykiss has picked Conor and Dejon as her first choices.
The dates definitely felt cheesy and forced.
Dejon is definitely flirting up a storm, despite being very close with Meg. This date is absolutely going to come back to bite him.
Conor isn’t doing himself any favors either; he was just crying about Megan leaving yesterday.
These men cannot be trusted. Shakira and Toni are both open to finding a new connection after their guys did them dirty, and I’m so here for it.
At this point, I’m getting sick of Harrison constantly putting down his relationship with Toni just to get into Helena’s good books.
I’m so over this episode – next, please.
Episode 24
Harrison is definitely being sneaky for kissing Helena, but at least he was honest enough to tell her about it.
I’m so glad Toni isn’t putting up with the obvious disrespect from that 22-year-old.
Sadly, it’s another recoupling, with the bombshells being chosen by the Islanders who are interested in them.
Unfortunately, this meant our queen Alima, was dumped from the villa.
The episode was definitely full of tension.
