Good Boy is a new drama that K-drama fans have praised on social media.
The series was released in May and is directed by Shim Na-yeon. It stars Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Oh Jung-se, Lee Sang-yi, Heo Sung-tae, and Tae Won-seok.
The show has 16 episodes and centers around former sports heroes who become police officers. Fans couldn’t help but share their love for Good Boy online.

One person wrote on X, “If you haven’t watched ‘Good boy’ kdrama yet, Please do. It’s one of the best kdrama I’ve ever watched. Last time i loved ‘happiness’ like this.”
A second chimed in, “Good Boy was amazing!! Best kdrama I’ve seen in so long.
They added, “Dong-ju was an amazing mc who overcame every obstacle he faced. Han-na, Jong-hyeon, Jae-Hong and Man-sik were such a great cast! Need more of them. Min Ju-Yeong was such an evil person. Hated him until the end.”
A third person wrote, “Good Boy cast.”
Speaking about the romance in the show, people couldn’t help but love the dynamic between Yoon Dong-ju (Bo-gum) and Ji Han-na (So-hyun).
A person said, “#GoodBoy is probably the first realistic portrayal of a golden retriever bf and black cat gf I’ve seen in kdramas in a long time…look at this guy hours after kissing his crush????? get up????”
Meanwhile, another fan gushed over Park Bo-gum’s acting ability.
They shared, “We’ve seen Yoon Dong-ju (Park Bo-gum), extremely entertaining in the comedy scenes, fantastic in the emotional scenes & trying to keep his brain damage a secret. So to see him nearly die was absolutely horrifying & heartbreaking!
Good Boy – Episode 12 – #KoreanDrama #KDrama.”
While the show finally aired on our screens this year, it wasn’t an easy journey for the cast and crew.
Drama fans were left hanging when filming for Good Boy came to a sudden halt after leading man Park Bo-gum suffered a leg injury during a high-intensity stunt in Busan. The incident happened in late August 2024, just months after the cast kicked things off with a full script read-through on March 21.
Cameras had only just started rolling when Park was rushed to a Seoul hospital for treatment; thankfully, the injury was minor.
Meanwhile, Park shocked viewers by popping up as a surprise weather presenter on JTBC’s Newsroom on May 26.
His co-stars Kim So-hyun and Lee Sang-yi also took turns at the green screen over the next two nights. And the promo train didn’t stop there as Lee and Heo Sung-tae even dropped in for a cheeky cameo during episode 12 of Park’s own late-night music show, The Seasons: Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile.
