I just finished Everyone Loves Me (the C-drama), and here’s my completely honest review.

What is Everyone Loves Me About?
Everyone Loves Me is a charming slow-burn romance wrapped up in a workplace drama set in the competitive world of game development.
The story centers on Yue Qianling, a hot-tempered yet passionate game developer, who has a one-sided crush on Gu Xun, a cute and caring colleague at her university, who later becomes her coworker.
Despite her initial uncertainty—she even contemplates quitting her job—the two end up working at rival departments in a top gaming company.
Outside of work, they unknowingly connect as online gaming partners under creative aliases, sharing their thoughts about life and love without realizing how close they really are in real life.
Alongside their budding romance, the show explores the suspense and challenges behind creating a new game, while also diving into the dynamics between other coworkers, including Gu Xun’s best friend Jiang Jun and his secretary Chen Xin Yi.
Is Everyone Loves Me Worth Watching?
Absolutely! Everyone Loves Me is perfect if you love romantic dramas.
Lin Yo and Zhou Ye have this amazing on-screen chemistry that just makes every scene between them so much fun to watch.
They have these playful and sometimes immature moments that make the show hilarious.
What I love most about this show doesn’t just show off the funny side of their relationship but also the more serious bits.
The duo navigates friendships and love life while working together at the same company, especially when they’re young and still trying to find their place in the world.
The side characters also make watching Everyone Loves Me worthwhile while including their drunken antics and their own little romances.
Plus, the cinematography is beautiful and the soundtrack is amazing. However my only criticism of the series is that some of the cliffhangers felt a bit unnecessary and maybe dragged things out a little.
If you want an easy-to-watch romance series with lots of laughs and that dives into the gaming world, Everyone Loves Me is definitely worth your time.
