Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery has been given a Netflix worldwide release date of December 12, 2025.
It comes after the streaming service shared the first official trailer with fans on Monday, September 8.
What is Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery about?

The film serves as a follow-up to Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022) and is the third installment in the popular Knives Out series created by Rian Johnson.
Daniel Craig returns as master detective Benoit Blanc, who is once again drawn into a complex web of mystery and murder. A synopsis for the film’s plot teases: “Benoit Blanc returns for his most dangerous case yet.”
Set in a darker, more gothic setting than the previous films, Wake Up Dead Man centers on a mysterious death in a church. While many believe it to be a miracle, Detective Blanc suspects it’s actually a murder hidden behind religious symbolism.
