So, you’ve probably seen Money Heist by now. This show had us all hooked from the very first episode.

Who didn’t hold their breath when we thought The Professor was about to get caught, or when the heist seemed like it was completely falling apart? From Tokyo, Berlin, and Rio, reckless decisions and the shows’s twists, Money Heist kept us guessing at every step.

Airing in 2017 on Netflix, the gripping drama (originally La Casa de Papel) quickly became a global sensation. The premise of the show is that a group of thieves are recruited by a mysterious Professor (played by Álvaro Morte), to rob the Royal Mint of Spain.

The show is intense and full of action, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. Finally, it’s worth noting that Narcos was created by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard, and Doug Miro.

Peaky Blinders

Set in post-WWI Birmingham, Peaky Blinders follows the Shelby family and their rise in the criminal underworld, with Cillian Murphy as he gives an incredible performance as Thomas Shelby.

The Crown

The Crown is one of the controversies on this list – but the show is completely addictive. It follows members of the British Royal Family throughout the years and the star-stellar cast includes Imelda Staunton, Olivia Williams, Claire Foy, Matt Smith, Vanessa Kirby, and Greg Wise. Definitely one for fans of Money Heist.

Ozark

Ozark follows Marty Byrde and his money laundering scheme. After a failed operation he and his family are forced to move to Lake of the Ozarks region of central Missouri so he can make amends and run a larger operation. The show is full of suspense and gripping action, making it a must-watch.

Dark

Debuting on Netflix in December 2017, Dark is a German sci-fi thriller about a small town where the disappearance of two children uncovers a web of secrets spanning multiple generations. 

The show revolves around four interconnected families and a mysterious cave system that allows time travel, linking events from the past, present, and future.

The Witcher

If you watched Money Heist, you’ll want to see The Witcher. Another hit Netflix show, the fantasy series follows Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter known as a Witcher.
