When I first heard about Stranger Things back in 2016—during my university days—I have to admit, it didn’t seem like a show I’d be interested in. At the time, I wasn’t into anything sci-fi. But when I sat down to watch a couple of episodes, I was completely blown away.
Sure, the story involves strange creatures called Demogorgons, but at its core, it’s about three teenagers—Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin)—trying to find their missing best friend. They get help from Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), a mysterious girl with telekinetic powers, who becomes an important part of their group and helps them search for Will (Noah Schnapp).
