Will there be another season of The Vampire Diaries?
As of now, there are no plans for a ninth season of The Vampire Diaries. The show concluded after its eighth season in 2017, and despite ongoing rumors and fan speculation, the creators and cast have made it clear that the story has reached its natural end. In fact, both The Vampire Diaries and its spinoffs, The Originals and Legacies, wrapped up their respective runs with Legacies concluding in 2022.
