Shay Rudolph Lands Role of Summer Di Laurentis in Off Campus Season 2
The announcements for Off Campus Season 2 have been garnering plenty of buzz, and for good reason.
The popular series, which was adapted from the amazing books by Elle Kennedy, was only released earlier this year, but production isn’t slowing down as the team gears up for an exciting new season.
The first season aired on May 13, 2026, on Amazon Prime Video. The second season will focus on Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla) and Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn). Prime Video has confirmed them as the season’s central couple, with the story focusing on Elle Kennedy’s third Off-Campus novel, The Score.

A huge update has been shared with fans, as actress Shay Rudolph joins the cast as Dean Di Laurentis’ sister, Summer.
She is best known for her role in the Netflix series The Baby-Sitters Club as Stacey McGill. She also starred in Fox’s crime-drama television series Lethal Weapon as the daughter of lead character Wesley Cole.
The Off Campus official page took to Instagram to write, “Double it and give it to Season 2.
“Everyone say hi to Shay Rudolph as our Summer DiLaurentis.”
Fans have been excited over the news, with one person saying, “CUTIEEE THEY LOOK ALIKE OH MY GOSH.”
Another person wrote, “That’s so cool, she is perfect!”

Creator Louisa Levy has teased what fans can expect from Allie and Dean’s storyline moving into Season 2.
While the pair’s relationship has already been explored throughout the first season, she explained that the show deliberatetly kept parts of their romance a secret from viewers. She also hints that the unanswered questions surrounding their relationship will help move the story in the upcoming season.
She told TVGuide.co.uk.: “We wanted to play with the fact that it’s a secret relationship — which it is in the book — by keeping it a secret from the audience as well. That’s something that you can only do if you play around with the order and deliver things to the audience in ways that they might not expect, even if they’ve read all of the books. What we’re setting up in this show is that we are honoring the books, but we also want to keep you surprised and give you things maybe in ways that you don’t expect.
“I know fans will want, but still leaving something hanging and some question going into Season 2 of, “How is this going to be resolved, and how is this going to drive story forward?” I want people to tune in Season 2 and watch what we have in store.
For fans of Elle Kennedy’s books, Summer’s arrival is also an exciting opportunity to see another familiar character brought to life on screen.
