The Summer I Turned Pretty has kept many of us hugely entertained, especially with the love triangle between Conrad, Belly, and Jeremiah.
I’ve really enjoyed this season so far, and I have to say, I’ve been loving Belly’s time in Paris. She’s rediscovering herself away from her loved ones, friends, and old boyfriends – meeting new people and generally enjoying life. There’s so much to unpack in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, Episode 10.

What Happened in The Summer I Turned Pretty Episode 10?
(This post contains minor spoilers.)
The episode starts with Belly adjusting to her new life in Paris – although it’s far from perfect. In the previous episode, things got off to a rocky start when she flew halfway across the world only to be told she was no longer part of the exchange program she had signed up for during her college semester.
Episode 10 reveals that Belly has now been living in Paris for several months. The story opens with her celebrating Thanksgiving and trying to get her French roommates on board with her traditions. Belly is juggling online classes and under-the-table work, feeling homesick and a little adrift.
Meanwhile, back in the U.S., Jeremiah has been lying about school and work. He’s been crashing with Steven Conklin and causing enough trouble that his dad finally cuts him off.
Conrad Fisher, on the other hand, has been writing letters to Belly – clearly, he’s still not over her.

As the season moves into Christmas and New Year’s, Belly resists going home. She spends Christmas Eve alone at her bar job and receives a call from Jeremiah, only to realize that their relationship has changed.
On New Year’s Eve, Belly gets a care package from Conrad, filled with Sour Patch Kids, a polar bear plush, and other things that remind her of her old life and home.
When spring arrives, Belly decides to stay in Paris for another year rather than return home. Back in the States, Conrad and Jeremiah meet at their mother’s grave and finally have an honest conversation.
The Summer I Turned Pretty Episode 10 Review
I loved Belly’s transition from feeling completely lost to becoming confident as she settles into life in Paris. Her dress sense has changed so much, too – I just love her new style. It’s mature, pretty, and perfectly fitting for her character growth.

The music selection was fantastic, featuring I Can Do It With a Broken Heart by Taylor Swift, along with some beautiful French tunes I’m obsessed with – like La Valse d’Amélie, Vous Êtes Jolie, and La Javanaise. There were also classics like How Deep Is the Ocean, Shouldn’t I Give Up, Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, and Last Christmas.
Another highlight for me was Taylor and Belly’s friendship. Taylor is the only one who visits Belly in Paris, and I just love seeing such a strong female friendship.

Episode 10 of The Summer I Turned Pretty shows that Belly’s Paris trip isn’t about romance – it’s about finding herself.
Belly’s time in Paris focuses less on romantic moments and more on becoming someone who truly knows what she wants. I loved seeing this side of her, she’s not basing her twenties on relationships but on friendships and life experiences. This little break from the show’s usual love triangle drama was refreshing.
Meanwhile, Jeremiah is stuck in patterns of avoidance and self-destruction, forcing him to face a harsh reality. Personally, I think his ego gets in the way of his happiness. Even though he was the one who broke up with Belly, he still wallows in self-pity.
Eventually, when his dad discovers he’s been skipping classes, he cuts Jeremiah off. For someone so wealthy, his dad can be surprisingly stingy, he even wants to keep the leftover alcohol from Jeremiah and Belly’s wedding!
Sometimes I feel like Jeremiah needs therapy because he clearly has major daddy issues. He shouldn’t feel the need to constantly impress his dad – he’s in college and should be building a life for himself. Yes, being second best hurts, but he needs to move past it. His brother later confronts him at their mother’s grave, and Jeremiah begins to see what he’s lost.
Discussion
I can’t get over the little details in this episode, from Conrad keeping a Polaroid of Belly to the montage of Belly and her friends during her time in Paris. It’s fitting how the seasons change – and so does Belly.
She goes from being uncertain and homesick to confidently rocking a red jumper with champagne in hand. I’m loving her growth and confidence.
And let’s talk about Benito – he’s charming, mysterious, and artsy. Sure, we all knew he wasn’t going to be endgame for Belly, but he was definitely eye candy and a great addition to the cast.

Meanwhile, Conrad, despite everything, seems to be growing as a person. He realizes the damage he caused on Belly and Jeremiah’s wedding day and has an open, honest conversation with Steven, which was great to see. I also loved watching Steven take a big leap in his career.
The best part of this episode is that there are no major speeches or dramatic breakdowns – just Conrad, Jeremiah, and Belly living their lives and learning from their mistakes.
I’m also loving the friendship between Isabella and Jeremiah. She puts him in his place while still being supportive, which is exactly what he needs.
This episode really focuses on whether Belly’s perspective on life has changed now that she’s far from home. And honestly, the fact that Conrad is still pining over Belly is adorable – especially when he shows up at her parents’ house for Christmas, hoping she’ll be there.
Whatever happens in the finale, this episode already gave us an iconic line from Jeremiah, where he said: “Do what you have to do. Don’t expect me to be okay with it. But don’t f—king waste it either.” From one Fisher brother to another. But the ending looks promising with Conrad making a huge decision about his future with Belly.
