After the massive success of My Fault and Your Fault, the highly anticipated third installment – Our Fault (also titled Culpa nuestra) aired in October 2025.
I’d been really looking forward to this movie ever since Amazon Prime released the trailer for Our Fault earlier this year. When the teaser dropped, I was so excited. Seeing Nick and Noah back on my screen felt so exhilarating.

For those unfamiliar, Our Fault is a forbidden romance story that follows the two main characters, Noah and Nick, who are step-siblings. There’s already been two films that have been out about their story so far, My Fault and Your Fault.
After the dramatic finale of Your Fault, which premiered last year, it threw the pair’s relationship into turmoil, things have definitely changed for both of them as they’ve grown and matured.
Here’s a summary of what happens in Our Fault and my honest review.
What is Our Fault about?
It’s been a few years since Nick and Noah have seen each other after going their separate ways. Things have certainly changed now.
In their new lives, Nick has become the heir to his grandfather’s business empire, while Noah has graduated from college. Noah is keen to move on from her past and looks for a new job.
But on their path away from each other, they are thrown back into each other’s lives. Nick and Noah meet again when they are both invited to their friends Jenna and Lion’s wedding.
Their relationship remains frosty, but Nick still has more to learn about Noah – and vice versa. They are literally avoiding each other at all costs – despite their friends’ efforts to get them back together.

Our Fault Review
The plot

The plot of Our Fault was definitely good at the beginning – slightly slower than I would’ve expected – but it really begins to pick up the pace around the middle, leading to a dramatic and satisfying conclusion to this cherished film trilogy.
I enjoyed the plots of the first two films and honestly didn’t see how this one could possibly top them, but I was thoroughly surprised by how well it did.
I think the story did a great job of tying up any loose ends, particularly those left over from the second movie. I also felt that Nick and Noah were much stronger as a duo in this installment, showing real growth and maturity in their relationship.
I really liked that the plot brought back not only characters from the first movie, but also several from the second – such as Sofía, Nick’s second love interest; Briar, Noah’s old roommate and Nick’s ex; and Michael, Noah’s former therapist.
When I say the second half of the movie was good – I mean it was really good.
There were car chases, break-ins, tearful confessions, breakups, and even a major plot twist that completely caught me off guard.
There’s also a bit more focus on Noah’s new workplace and Nick’s new position, which both managed to be surprisingly make the movie slightly more interesting at the start..
The chemistry
One thing we have to talk about is the tension between Nick and Noah. There’s one scene I particularly loved. It was when Nick gave Noah a ride home from the wedding.

They both weren’t talking, and then she decided to spray perfume on her neck while in the car. Nick can’t take his eyes off her, remembering all the times they were intimate.
The eye contact between them is intense. Nick is back to his clingy self, while Noah isn’t paying any attention to it this time around (though we know she secretly loves it).
The jealousy is powerful, and Nick’s attempts to sabotage her new relationship make it so entertaining to watch!
Even though they’ve gone their separate ways, it’s fascinating to see how Nick’s obsession with Noah still hasn’t faded.
The characters
Nick and Noah have matured a lot, and it shows. Nick is no longer the self-destructive kid he’s always been; he’s much more sure of himself now.
Noah is great in the film too, as she also comes across as more confident and grounded.
However, their parents are largely absent in Our Fault and seem to have little influence on Nick and Noah’s estranged relationship, which feels a bit odd.
This film also introduces yet another love interest for Noah – and he was cute. Unfortunately, he didn’t last long, as we all know no one can truly compete with her connection to Nick.
I love the fact that we also get the return of some familiar characters, especially one particularly unhinged character, who causes absolute chaos in several scenes.
Setting

The film returns to its usual aesthetic, which I absolutely loved.
The lavish villas, fast cars, and sun-drenched backdrop of Ibiza were all stunning to look at.
I love the glamorous energy these films bring – especially the cars, since we know how much Noah and Nick originally bonded over them.
Final thoughts

I really enjoyed this film, and it seemed to go by so quickly toward the ending. While the first half of the movie drags a little, it does a great job of setting the stage for Noah and Nick, offering a glimpse into their new lifestyles and the next chapter of their lives.
I loved that the film brought back some of the wild, unforgettable characters as well as introduced a few new faces.
Looking back at the Culpables trilogy as a whole, Our Fault feels like the perfect emotional send-off for these characters.
Even though parts of it felt a bit rushed, there’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing Nick and Noah finally come full circle after everything they’ve been through.
The film delivers an action-packed and unpredictable finale that completely blew me away.
If you’ve been following Nick and Noah’s journey from the very beginning, Our Fault is an absolute must-watch.
It might mark the final chapter, but this trilogy will undoubtedly hold a special place in the hearts of many fans.
