Love Island UK Series 12 Episode 25, 26 & 28 Review

Here’s a recap on the past few episodes of Love Island in case you missed it.

I’ve been so ready for some new episodes of Love Island, and it did not disappoint.

There’s a lot of tension between couples, namely Toni and Harrison, and the love triangle between Harry, Helena, and Shakira. Let’s delve in.

Love Island UK season 12 review
A villa party and Casa Amor all in one week!

Episode 25

Obviously, we’ve already had a dramatic dumping in the previous episode, and it’s left everyone contemplating how to spend their time in the villa.

I’m glad Toni is being a bit more vulnerable in this episode and wearing her heart on her sleeve.

She’s showing how she really feels and how she wants to be treated by him.

The islanders played a very intense Superman challenge, which involved them matching headlines to the boys, leading to some heated arguments.

Dejon is, once again, dishing out advice to Harry and not allowing him to think for himself.

I do believe he’s better suited to Shakira, but there’s also a spark with Helena. But to be honest, it’s not good for him to be leading her on. I feel bad for Shakira.

I can’t wait for movie night we’re all of these sneaky conversations will be aired.

Episode 26

Shakira is really annoyed with Harry and Helena, and understandably so. The only good thing that’s come out of this situation is definitely the friendship between Shakira and Conor.

Yes, he’s done some questionable things in the villa, but at least he’s standing by my girl. Honestly, I can’t believe Harry and Helena ended up snogging in the Hideaway – yawn!

It’s weird that Dejon was gaslighting Billykiss after he was essentially leading her during their interactions.

I’m glad she spoke to him about it – he’s done it plenty of times already.

There’s another quick recoupling, with the boys picking the girls. Some obvious choices, to be fair. The villa also hosted a special VIP night, with Katy B performing.

Yasmin and Conor kissed on the terrace, which was totally random. Moving swiftly on, there was some deep conversation about openness, which can only mean one thing – Casa Amor. Bring on the carnage!

Episode 28

Cue the cheesy breakfast date—because we all know it’s not going to last.

It’s hilarious watching the islanders talk about their relationship from the outside, though. Have they never seen this show before?!

Finally, the boys arrive at Casa, and they’re already making questionable moves. Right from the start, there is plenty of flirting chats.

Do these guys know they’re just easy targets? It’s like they’re practically begging to be coupled up with the new girls.

Then came the game of truth or dare, and things got way steamy (oh boy).

Let’s just hope Harry, Dejon, and Harrison know what they’re doing…

That’s all I gotta say on this week’s episodes.
