I’m completely obsessed with Jenny Han’s universe. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, The Summer I Turned Pretty, and XO, Kitty. If you’ve never heard of XO, Kitty (which I doubt you haven’t if you clicked on this post), you become accustomed to the love triangles and drama in the last two seasons, with another one coming (Yaay!).
A lot of us have been rooting for Kitty to find her match, whether you’re team Dae, Minh,o or Yuri, and it’s about time our girl has her happily ever after, am I right?
So, as we appreciate this beloved series, here’s a look at some films and series similar to XO, Kitty you can watch now.
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018)
If we’re talking about movies to watch like XO, Kitty, there’s no way I won’t be listing To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.
It’s the film that started it all.
I fell head over heels with Lara Jean Covey’s incredible love story as her fake dating with Peter Kavinsky takes centre stage. But thankfully, their fake feeling quickly turns real as they realize just how much they like each other (I was so happy!).

Never Have I Ever (2020–2023)
This show has to be one of my favourites. Mindy Kaling is a mastermind when it comes to making a teen show full of realistic moments.
Never Have I Ever follows Devi Vishwakumar, a first-generation Indian-American teen, as she navigates high school drama, friendships, and the chaos of first love.
Much like Kitty, Devi is figuring out who she is while dealing with the ups and downs of teenage romance.
Crash Landing On You (2019–2020)
Crash Landing On You is a fan favorite for a reason. This romantic drama follows the unpredictable romance between a South Korean heiress and a North Korean officer after a paragliding accident.
It’s funny, emotional, and overall a really good watch.
Love Alarm (2019–2021)
If you’re a sucker for romance, Love Alarm is your go-to.
This K-drama is set in a near-future world where an app alerts users when someone within a 10-meter radius has romantic feelings for them.
The stellar cast includes Song Kang, Kim So-hyun, Jung Ga-ram, and Go Min-si.
The Half of It (2020)
If you love a good coming-of-age drama, you should watch The Half of It.
Based on Cyrano de Bergerac, the story is about Ellie Chu, a shy, introverted student who helps a jock win the affection of a girl they both secretly like.
If you love Kitty’s journey of figuring herself out, you’ll appreciate Ellie’s more introspective take on romance and friendship.
Atypical (2017–2021)
Atypical follows Sam, an 18-year-old on the autism spectrum.
The series tackles relationships and family dynamics, as well as raising awareness for mental disabilities.
My First First Love (2019)
My First First Love is a must-watch for XO, Kitty fans. The show follows a group of friends in their early twenties, forming friendship bonds and first loves.
It’s a feel-good Korean drama that you certainly won’t regret watching.
Alex Strangelove (2018)
Alex Strangelove follows Alex, a high school senior who thinks he’s ready for a relationship with a girl—until he meets someone who makes him question everything.
Its stars are Daniel Doheny, Antonio Marziale, and Madeline Weinstein.
The Secret Garden (2010)
The Secret Garden is one of my favourite kdramas.
The story follows a CEO and a stuntwoman who find their lives intertwined in an unexpected body-swap scenario.
There are mishaps, awkward encounters, and sweet romance along the way. A must-watch.
On My Block (2018–2021)
One of my favourite teen dramas on Netflix, On My Block, follows a group of teenagers living in a dangerous neighbourhood in Los Angeles.
It’s a hilarious coming-of-age series that will make you laugh and fall in love with the characters.
