Love Island Season 12 Episode 2 Review

Tonight’s episode of Love Island definitely had a slow start.

Things kicked off with Shakira fighting to avoid being dumped from the villa, sparking plenty of tension as she scrambled to stay and hoped one of the boys would choose her.

With only 24 hours to secure a new connection, Shakira engaged in flirtatious conversations with multiple boys, including Dejon, Harry, Conor, Blu, and Tommy.

Some couples seemed to be forming stronger connections, while others were weaker —especially Blu and Alima, who admitted from day one that they’re not each other’s types.

Meanwhile, newcomer Toni spent time getting to know the rest of the boys in the villa, though her main focus was clearly on Ben, the guy she’s currently coupled up with.

Feeling threatened by Shakira getting close to Tommy, Megan was eager to heat things up with her new man. However, in an awkward turn of events, the pair ended up kissing on the terrace.

Funnily enough, Tommy also admitted he had never shared a bed with a girl overnight.

It finally came down to the moment viewers had been waiting for: Shakira’s big decision.

It’s expected it to be quick, but the decision around the fire pit dragged on for more than it needed to.

We had the camera panning from each of the Islanders’ faces and then back to Shakira, who stood there indecisive.

A funny part to this was that she also turned round to host Maya Jama to explain the rules to her once again and help her with the decision, which has never been done before. It was so hilarious.

Anyways, the decision was finally made, and omg I was not expecting that. I wouldn’t be spoiling it on this blog – so no need to worry!

It’s always sad to see a person go, but I did like the little twist to the dumping tonight.

Ben seemed clearly uninterested in Toni as he got her name wrong, according to a fan

Fans were also fuming that Shakira couldn’t steal back Ben.

Meanwhile, some people speculated about their relationship – and it’s not good.

“I feel like Megan & Tommy either have the potential to go all the way or he’s inevitably going to fuck it up & she realises she’s actually way above his league #loveisland.”

Although one person defended them.
