Born and raised in the UK, Leo grew up in Shepherd’s Bush, West London.

He comes from an acting family, with his dad Andrew, stepdad, and grandmother all in the business. His parents met at drama school. He’s also said he’s related to Maxine Elliott.

From an early age, Leo was drawn to the world of acting. His educational journey led him to study at one of the UK’s prestigious drama schools, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in acting from Arts Educational School (ArtsEd) in 2019.

One Day (2024)

If you haven’t seen One Day, you will absolutely be blown away by this heartfelt and moving series. This story follows our two protagonists Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew, who meet on the night of their graduation from Edinburgh University.

Emma and Dexter couldn’t be more opposite but they form a close bond that carries through four the years.

In the 20 years, their relationship electives through one key day on July 15th each year. Leo does a perfect job at bringing the character Dexter to life.

Created by the Russo brothers, the show centers around the collapse of the global spy agency Citadel, leaving its agents’ memories wiped clean. In the power vacuum, the sinister syndicate Manticore rises to fill the void.

Vampire Academy (2022)

In Vampire Academy, Leo plays Adrian Ivashkov, a handsome but complicated vampire. The series, based on Richelle Mead’s popular book series, follows the lives of young vampires at the prestigious St. Vladimir’s Academy, where they train to protect their royal peers from dangerous threats.

In his career thus far, the actor told Rolling Stone: “I’ve been incredibly lucky the last couple years, and I don’t even [say] that in any way self-deprecating,” Woodall says. “It’s just part of this business. You get these lucky breaks.”
