A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder was adapted into a television series back in September 2022 by BBC Three. Based on the popular young adult mystery crime novel by Holly Jackson, the series follows our protagonist Pippa ‘Pip’ Fitz Amobi as she sets out to to uncover the truth behind a local murder case that has haunted the town for years.

The first season of the show is full of suspense, as it follows Pip investigating an apparent killing and suicide in her small town of Little Kilton under the guise of her Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

Years ago, the town was left shocked after discovering that Sal Singh, a teenager and local resident, had allegedly killed his girlfriend, Andie Bell, before taking his own life. While Andie’s body was never recovered, Sal had left a suicide note and was later found dead in the woods. Sal and Andie had been dating for years, but one night led to some unbelievable consequences. However, Pip isn’t quite as convinced as everyone else.

As Pip begins to dig deeper into the case, she uncovers more questions than answers, leading her into a web of secrets, lies, and darker truths than she could have imagined. Throughout the series, her investigation puts her at odds with friends, family, and the people closest to her, as she searches for the truth.
