When did The Kissing Booth Come Out?
The Kissing Booth first graced our screen in 2018. It is a one-hour and 45-minute long movie and is rated 12A.
What is The Kissing Booth About?
The plot centres around our main protagonist Elle Evans (played by Joey King). She is a high school student whose life is turned upside down when she falls for her best friend’s older brother, Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi).
Elle ends up working at a school carnival booth (you guessed it—the Kissing Booth) which turns out to be chaotic. Throughout the movie we see her torn between her loyalty to her best friend, Lee (Joel Courtney), and her undeniable chemistry with Noah, and things eventually get messy.

At the end of the day, Elle learns a thing or two about standing up for herself, choosing who she really wants to be, and, yes, kissing a whole lotta people along the way.
The trio in this movie is absolutely incredible. We have Noah who is a bit hostile meanwhile Lee is the passionate friend who doesn’t want his friendship with Elle to change. Elle, on the other hand, is torn between two people who she has come to adore and is scared of losing them both.
The Kissing Booth still holds a special place in our hearts. It’s like a time capsule of our teen years, wrapped in tinsel and high school angst. So, whether you love it or love to hate it, there’s no denying that the film has had a lasting impact on fans.
