28 Years Later is set to stream on Netflix for U.S. audiences.
This post-apocalyptic coming-of-age horror film, released this year, is the third installment in the 28 Days Later franchise, following the original 28 Days Later (2002) and 28 Weeks Later (2007).
Directed and produced by Danny Boyle, with a screenplay by Alex Garland, the film is expected to bring a new level of intensity to the series.
According to IMDb, the film’s synopsis reads: “A group of survivors of the rage virus live on a small island. When one of the group leaves the island on a mission to the mainland, he uncovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but also other survivors.”
The impressive cast includes Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alfie Williams in his feature film debut, and Ralph Fiennes.

When is 28 Years Later Coming out on Netflix?
Fans have been early waiting for news of the film coming to the streaming service – and it’s good news for some.
28 Years is set to arrive on Netflix in the US on September 20.
The platform confirmed this on their X account on Saturday, writing, “28 YEARS LATER, directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland, is coming to Netflix in the US on September 20.”
This has left many movie fans thrilled. In the comments section, one person joked, “Will be there.”
A second person chimed in, “Great movie. Not what I was expecting. In a good way.” A third person added, “Awesome news!!!”
However, people have been left divided, with many calling for the film to be available in the UK.
