Twilight is a teen romance fantasy film based on the hugely popular book by Stephenie Meyer. In the hit 2008 movie, fans are introduced to Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), a regular shy high school student who instantly falls for the mysterious Edward Cullen (Robert Pattison).
In the small, rainy town of Forks, Bella moves from Phoenix, Arizona to live with her dad and struggles to fit in at her new school. Although she manages to make friends, Bell quickly becomes fascinated by Edward and begins to question his strange behaviour.
But when Edward apologises for how he’s been acting around her, the pair soon grow closer. Later Bella discovers Edward is a vampire. Despite the dangers, Bella risks it all and they begin dating.
However, their love comes with danger – especially when a rival vampire, James, sets his sights on Bella. As Edward and his family protect her, Bella is forced to confront the deadly consequences of falling in love with a vampire. Twilight is packed with action and intense romance. As their relationship grows, their love faces challenges due to their differences. However, things take an unexpected turn when R and the other zombies start regaining human qualities, leading to a shift in their world.
Underworld (2003)
Underworld is an action-packed supernatural movie about vampires and werewolves. Orphaned by a werewolf attack, Selene is a skilled vampire assassin working for a vampire clan. When she crosses paths with Michael, a talented human doctor, she must fight to protect him from the dangerous schemes of the werewolves.
Beastly (2011)
Beastly stars Alex Pettyfer as Kyle Kingston, a popular high school student who is transformed into a disfigured version of himself, and Vanessa Hudgens as Lindy, the girl who sees beyond his appearance and helps him learn to change from the inside.
Red Riding Hood (2011)
Red Riding Hood is a dark take on the classic children’s fairytale. It stars Amanda Seyfried as Valerie, a young woman torn between two suitors, Peter (Shiloh Fernandez) and Henry (Max Irons), in a medieval village plagued by a werewolf. Fallen (2016)
Based on the book by Lauren Kate, Fallen follows Lucinda as she starts again at a reform school. She runs away from her old life after police blames her for the death of a young boy. She then finds herself entangled in a conflict between two fallen angels in disguise.
